We are dedicated to assisting you on your credit recovery journey. Please review the following

important information carefully and follow the necessary steps to ensure a smooth process.

Service Process:

From this point forward, please refrain from communicating with your current debt counsellor. Interacting with them could

negatively impact the assistance we are providing by potentially changing your status from A to C. If this happens, additional fees may be required for attorney services related to your status change and possible restructuring fees from the debt counsellor. We will request a transfer from your current debt counsellor and conduct an affordability assessment to determine your financial status. If you are declared not over-indebted, we will move you to a B status if applicable and begin investigating the factors on your credit profile that are affecting your ability to apply for credit. Our services include:

Contacting creditors to verify any prescribed debts.

Checking with creditors to see if any admin orders or judgments have been paid off, so they can be removed.

Removing any expired enquiries on your profile that are over 12 months old.

Investigating and correcting any inaccurate or outdated information on your credit profile.

Please do not conduct any credit checks or apply for any type of credit during the entire process, as it may affect our services.

Removing these negative factors will help increase your credit score, making it easier for you to apply for credit. Please note that any current arrears on your profile or any new or recent judgments, admin orders, and enquiries cannot be removed. This can only be determined once we have all the necessary information from our 4-in-1 comprehensive credit check with the four major credit bureaus in South Africa.

Please note that the services will be rendered in reliance on the facts, information, and documentation provided by you to Legacy Debt Solutions. You understands that the NCR Debt Help System may be intermittently unavailable and you therefore undertake to provide information regarding your current credit standing that is true, accurate, complete, and up to date. It is important for you to promptly notify Legacy Debt Solutions of any changes to such information for the duration of the engagement

Cancellation:
Cancellations must be given in writing and emailed to clientservices@legacydebtsolutions.co.za, 10 working days before the debit order Debi – Check tracking date or debit date. If we debit any amount from your account, no refunds will be provided, however,

we can cancel future debits and your process. Please remember, you are obligated to pay our non-refundable admin, application,

and assessment fee of R1750, including VAT.
